Our retainers aren’t just support — they establish repeatable HR systems, maintain legally required documentation, and ensure your organization stays audit-ready at all times.

    • Including creation and management of onboarding documents and workflows​

  • HRIS administration (excluding timekeeping and payroll processing)​

  • Policy creation and updates; Employee handbook reviews

  • Employee file management and record retention

  • Employment verifications

  • Employee relations guidance

  • Benefits research and package support within employer budgets

  • Supporting employee HR inquiries related to onboarding, documentation, and policy clarification

  • HR compliance guidance and support, including researching applicable workplace laws and directing employers to appropriate state and federal resources (not legal advice).

  • Employee acknowledgment tracking

  • Form I-9 administration and employment eligibility verification support, including Authorized Representative services where applicable.

  • File audit prep & organization

*Our retainers are structured using a monthly base fee combined with a per-employee rate. This allows pricing to scale fairly as your workforce grows while ensuring consistent HR infrastructure and administrative coverage.

The Legacy Grove supports small businesses located in NY, NJ, CT, and MA, that need ongoing HR support but aren’t ready—or don’t want—to hire in-house HR.
